HOW TO USE A COMPACT DISC (CD) AS A FLASH DISK.

What you need
1. Blank CD.
2. Computer with Windows 7 or above with DVD Writer.

What to do
1. Insert your Blank CD in the Drive.
2. Open My computer.
3. Right Click on the CD Drive & select Format in the Menu.
4. Follow the Steps until Format is Complete

DONE YOU CAN THEN SEND FILES TO THE CD & THEY WILL BE SAVED, YOU CAN ALWAYS DELETE NORMALLY & COPY MORE AS LONG AS THE CD DOESN'T GET SCRATCHED.

Make Free Pc to Pc Calls with Absolutely No Data on Your Airtel and Orange Simcard and MTN Hotspot

This trick can also work over a common network say MAK air for those in muk..
it has been tested and verified working..

1st of all you need a modem and a computer/laptop.....incase of a laptop u may not need a modem if you are to use wireless connection

for those using modems..get your Airtel Uganda or Orange Uganda simcard and place it in your modem(hope you dont have a locked modem)otherwise post yo imei and i help you unlock.,

open your mobile partner and connect with the default airtel apn or orange apn incase or airtel and orange resp.
deafult apns:
Airtel:web.ug.zain.com
Orange:orange.ug
access number is always *99#

thats done.so lets get started...but before you think of making the free calls you need to 1st download the software that we are to use to call free...

after downloading unzip the file with your preferred unzipping software for my case its WinRaR..
after setting up..click it and install follow the procedures as you can simply click next til the end


that is done..


now the calls

step 1.with your Airtel or Orange simcard in the modem and connected but with no data..start the software..if you are a win 7 /8 User run as admin by simply right clicking and run as admin...or you can set this in the compatibility mode to avoid doing it all the time

step2

Before making a call, press the refresh button to make sure of your I.P. Address. When making a call over a DSL, Cable, or 3 / 4G connection, connect first and then run the application to ensure a correct return I.P. Address.

On a LAN connection the I.P. Address is your network card address. On a DSL, Cable, or 3 / 4G  connection, the I.P. Address is the address your I.S.P. provides automatically when you connect.

step 3

To make a quick connection to a friend or family member over the internet, simply sms your current I.P. address to whom ever you  need to contact while you are online. They in turn enter your I.P. address in the address box and click on the chat button to start the connection. 

Answer the call and start chatting. 
Please Note:  If you are behind a firewall, allow access on your TCP/UDP network to receive and transmit calls.

 To Make these calls both parties MUST have the software installed on their machines

By Pass (Makerere)MUK Blocked Websites and Downloads

If you have been to Makerere University you well know download sites are blocked.i.e mediafire,sharebear..e.t.c..with and access to some sites is also forbidden..with this simple trick you are able to surf all the way till you drop..this trick works on both the ethernet cable and wireless connections in Makerere University
For faster connections you can use the ICT ,Main library and Fema connections..tho cable is faster

step 1
Download a thirdparty sofware that wil enable you tunnel  https://goo.gl/vqyQs
unzip it using any zipping software...

step 2
Simple open the zipped folder..its more likely to be name "u" and double click the icon there..
it wil open and you wait for a while till you see 

step 3
configure your browser incase you are to use a different browser other than internet explorer
Incase of Mozilla
Alt + T to open the tools menu
go to options
then advanced
then network and then settings..you can simply set the browser to use system proxy

for the case of IDM(internet download manager)
open the IDM dialogue and go to donwloads,then options
under options u wil see a tab with (Proxy/Socks)
click it and you wil see and interface where you wil punch in your proxy

then default proxy to set is 127.0.0.1 port 9666 and check the https,htpp and ftp.
incase of older versions of IDM you wil have to enter the proxy three times i.e in the https
then http then ftp.

then click ok to exit and start downloading servers
